Soft and dusky-looking, yet spiky and architectural, this stunning succulent grows as a single rosette with silver to muted purple, speckled with deeper purple leaves, with small silver spikes around their edges. Ideal for growing in pots, it makes a stunning addition to patios for summer, if returned to a frost-free conservatory for winter. A spectacular 3m tall flower spike of many yellow/green tubular blooms appears after many years, signalling the death of the main rosette; young rosettes (pups) are produced during or after flowering which can be re-planted.
