Description Vintage Cocky Chicken Plate from the 1950’s-1960’s. I believe the funny poem on the plate is somehow connected to a song called Rooster Blues by Delbert McClinton. Much like the chicken and the egg I have no idea which one came first.. “Said the little Red Rooster to the Little Red Hen, You haven’t Laid an Egg in God knows when.
