Description Osha Root is a plant associated with good luck and protection and the whole root was carried as a talisman to ward off rattlesnakes and witches’ spells. Commonly used for cleansing & protecting spaces & it is also very effective for banishing spells & rituals, as Osha helps get rid of unwanted energies & keeps them away. One can simply just burn this herb as incense to clear out a space. Historically, the root has been used as medicine by Indigenous & Latin cultures for sore throat, bronchitis, cough, common cold, influenza, swine flu, & pneumonia. It’s also used to treat other viral infections including herpes. Some people use it for indigestion and others have applied a balm of the root to the skin to keep wounds from getting infected.
